HUMAN SALES FOLLOW-UP
HVAC leads need a next conversation.
Your estimator sends the replacement quote. The homeowner goes quiet. We follow up, find out what is holding them back and work toward the next step.

Follow up on the work you have already quoted
A replacement system is a decision a homeowner may want to talk through. Silence could mean another quote, a timing problem or an unanswered question. A caller needs to find out which.
OnHand provides human follow-up for recent HVAC inquiries and existing estimates. We agree the calling plan and the questions your caller can answer before work begins.
Give the caller the right context
Start with the estimate date, proposed work, last conversation and the next step your team can offer. Include your service area and who should handle technical questions.
The caller can ask whether the project is still planned, what the homeowner needs to decide and whether a conversation with your estimator would help. We return sizing, equipment, financing and pricing questions to your team unless you have approved a specific answer.
An example of a useful conversation
“You received an estimate for the replacement system. Are you still considering the work, or has something changed?”
If the homeowner is comparing options, find out what they are comparing. If they need a later date, agree when to reconnect. If they have chosen another company, record that and stop the sales sequence. This is an illustrative approach, not a customer testimonial.
See what happened after the call
Review who was reached, the objection, the agreed next step and the owner of any outstanding question. Count a booking only when it meets your booking rules. Count a sale when your team confirms it.
Start a pilot conversation with your approximate lead volume, the age of the estimates and how your team follows up today.
A FEW GOOD QUESTIONS
Before we talk.
Can you answer emergency HVAC calls?
This offer is outbound follow-up. It does not promise emergency dispatch or a live inbound answering service.
Can you book an estimator visit?
Where your process allows it, we work within the availability and booking rules you approve. Otherwise we pass a request to your team for confirmation.
Do you negotiate the estimate?
Only within authority you have agreed. Technical decisions, discounts and financing commitments stay with your team unless explicitly approved.
